About A9 Consulting Ltd

Our expertise

A9 Consulting Ltd is a small well-established consultancy with a large and diverse client base, including householders, developers, landowners, other consultancies and government agencies. We have worked on a wide portfolio of projects, from advising on the ecological impacts of house renovations through to large wind farms and other infrastructure. We work on projects at many stages, from initial scoping through survey and impact assessment, and on to Environmental and Ecological Clerk of Works services during the construction period, including the fulfilment of planning conditions.

Our Founders

A9 Consulting Ltd was incorporated in 2010 by Yvonne Brown and Dr Eric Donnelly.

The core knowledge base of A9 Consulting Ltd comes from over 25 years of experience in ecological, conservation and agricultural fields, with 15 of these years providing ecological consultancy.

We hold Scottish Natural Heritage licences for a range of protected species and rare birds, and work closely with our specialist associates to provide a complete package. A9 Consulting Ltd is registered on Builders Profile, is ISO assured, and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance (£2m), Public Liability Insurance (£5m) and Employers Liability Insurance (£10m).
